Day 1: Arrival in Siem Reap Upon your arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be met by your tour guide who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to relax and explore the town of Siem Reap at your own pace.
Day 2: Angkor Thom and Ta Prohm After breakfast, you will embark on a full-day tour of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. You will see the South Gate, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch, you will visit the famous Ta Prohm Temple, which is overgrown with trees and vines and was featured in the Tomb Raider movie.
Day 3: Angkor Wat Today, you will visit the main attraction – Angkor Wat. You will spend the whole day exploring this magnificent temple and learning about its history and significance. You will have the chance to climb to the top of the temple and admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle.
Day 4: Banteay Srei and Landmine Museum After breakfast, you will visit the beautiful pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, which is renowned for its intricate carvings. You will also visit the Landmine Museum, which was set up to raise awareness about the devastating effects of landmines on Cambodian communities.
Day 5: Tonle Sap Lake and Departure On your final day, you will visit Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, where you will take a boat tour to see the floating villages and learn about the daily lives of the people who live there. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to the airport for your departure flight.
